STONE SAW 5X PRO
5-axis Bridge Saw Automatic Machine for Stone
The KPNC Stone Saw 5X PRO is suitable for automated, precise cutting and shaping of various stone surfaces. The machine’s construction is made of galvanized thick-walled steel in a monoblock design, ensuring stable high-speed cutting and shaping with straight and inclined edge profiles without manual operator intervention. It performs cuts in straight lines, diagonals, L-shapes, rounded shapes, and openings, as well as four-sided cuts at angles between 0° and 90°.
The machine is equipped with a PLC controller for automatic operation. The working parameters are input directly into the control panel, and it is compatible with DXF files. The machine’s table features hydraulic lifting and tilts up to 85 degrees for easy slab loading. The KPNC Stone Saw 5X PRO also has a built-in camera for capturing the position of the material on the table, while a positioning laser indicates the location of the cuts on the slab. Some of the functions the machine performs effortlessly include:
Rectangular recessing
Cutting to list
Rectangular shapes
Arbitrary lines
Polygons
Trapezoidal shapes
Circles and ellipses
Double-sided beveling
Parallelograms and Rhombuses
Grids
Drilling and milling
Sectors
Sink openings
Countertops
3D profiling
Calculating cut layouts
Working with CAD files
Working with G-Code files
Stone Saw 5X PRO Characteristics
Dimensions and travel
The working table size of the Stone Saw 5X PRO is 3200x2000mm. An L-version of the machine can be ordered with a table size of 3700x2100mm.
Maximum working travels for the axes:
– X-axis: 3200mm (3700mm for the L-version)
– Y-axis: 2000mm (2100mm for the L-version)
– Z-axis: 340mm
– A-axis: from 0° to 90°
– C-axis: from 0° to 360°
Electric motor and cutting disc
The cutting disc is powered by a 15kW asynchronous electric motor.
The rotation speed can be adjusted between 2600 and 6000 RPM.
The size of the cutting disc ranges from 350mm to 500mm.
The machine automatically measures the diameter of the disc and includes it in the project.
Position camera
The machine includes a camera that captures the position of the material on the table in real-time. This allows for optimizing cutting layouts, which is particularly useful for slabs with irregular shapes or defects.
The camera eliminates the need for manual alignment, saving time and enabling the free positioning of details.
