CNC router for stone KPNC Nova is a high-quality digitally controlled machine suitable for cutting, shaping, engraving and making 3D reliefs and bas-reliefs in various stone surfaces. This budget type CNC router is specially designed for stone processing and is made of thick-walled steel to eliminate vibration during operation. Nova Stone CNC Router Features
Heavy duty steel construction
Electro welded and then heat treated to remove welding stresses. Thick-walled steel construction minimizes vibration, ensures optimal performance and extends tool life when working with a variety of stone materials.
Geometry
The absolute axis alignment does not allow bending when moving along any of the axes. It ensures the correct execution of operations and reduces the risk of wear of moving elements.

The entire working area is covered with a layer of stainless steel, providing long-term protection against corrosion.
Clamping the workpiece
T-slots are built into the work table, which helps to easily and securely attach the material to the machine table. PVC layer to protect the material from scratching. The machine can be modified with an additional system for gripping the material with a vacuum.
Spindle
The standard NOVA CNC router is equipped with a specially designed MarbleMaster 5.5 kW stone spindle with manual tool change. The spindle has a water jacket and a passive industrial chiller for cooling during operation, ensuring a longer service life.
The machine can be upgraded to a more powerful StoneMill 7.5kW spindle with pneumatic quick change.
Tool change and cooling
Tool change on the NOVA machine model is done manually. For mechanical change – with ER32 collets, and for quick change – with BT conical tool holders.
The machine is equipped with a standard straight water tool cooling system. Optionally available is a modification with a system and stainless steel tank for cooling with circulating water, saving over 80 percent of water costs.
Controller and panel
The Nova model controller is a high-quality, three-axis controller and is designed to handle multiple projects at the same time.
The ergonomic control panel with a 21.5-inch monitor allows easy, continuous operation of the machine without operator fatigue. Optionally, the panel can be modified by placing a second screen, on the side of the machine, for better visual control
Computer
The built-in computer allows the preparation of projects directly from the machine’s control panel. This provides visual control of the project and the stone slab, avoiding a large number of imperfections in the stone blanks.
Scanning of uneven workpieces
The CNC router is designed and manufactured to allow for the optional installation of a stone scanning system. It allows automatic scanning of the surface of the workpiece and adaptation of the inscription to the irregularities of the stone.
This system is optional and saves considerable time for positioning the stone blank before starting work.
